Pre Season Fitness

Pre Season fitness for 2024 season: See each division below.

Trials – Location

All trials will take place at Easts Hockey Tiger Turf (EHTT) or Grass field, Clem Jones Centre, Carina, unless otherwise stated.
Trials are taking place during Jan-Mar. Please keep an eye on this page and emails for dates and times.

Easts Senior Women Trials/Training – *2024*

Womens Training

• Trialing for Div 1-2 Wednesday 17th/24th Jan 6:30-7:30pm
• Trialing for Div 3-4 Wednesday 17th/24th Jan 7:30-8:30pm
• Trialing for Div 5-6 Wednesday 17th/24th Jan 7:30-8:30pm
• Normal training starts Wednesday 14th Feb 6:30-9:30pm

Please arrive 30mins before the games start time above to warm up and get team allocations before taking the field. Players who have training singlets, please bring them along! Before selections please train with the division you are trialing for.

Womens Trials

Please arrive 30 minutes before your session time, please also register before hand;

• Trialing for Div 1-3 Sunday 28th Jan 3-4pm
• Trialing for Div 4-6 Sunday 28th Jan 4-5pm
• Trialing for Div 1-6 Wednesday 31st Jan 7:30-9:30
• Trialing for Div 1-3 Sunday 4th Feb 2-3pm
• Trialing for Div 4-6 Sunday 4th Feb 3-4pm
• If needed, Div 1-6 Wednesday 7th Feb 6:30-8:30pm

Easts Senior Men Trials/Training – *2024*

Senior men’s pre-season fitness will commence in 2024. It is an open invitation to men across the divisions. This will be on the grass fields next to the turf

Tue 2nd, 9th, 16th 23rd Jan @6:30pm

Thu 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th Jan @6:30pm

Training Commencement

Fitness starts 15th Jan 5:30-6:30pm

Turf Girls starts

Wednesday 17th and 24th January – Turf Training

12T – 4:30pm to 5:30pm
14T – 5:30pm to 6:30pm
JT3/4 – 5:30pm to 6:30pm (Those who wish to trial for JT3 or JT4)
JT1/2 – 6:30pm to 7:30pm (Those who wish to trial for JT1 or JT2)

Grass Girls

Grass U10 to JG – 14th Feb – 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Grass U7’s & U9’s – 13th March – 4:30pm to 5:30pm

Trials

In relation to trials for the upcoming season if your daughter is intending to trial for Junior Turf, key dates are noted below. An email will be distributed in the New Year outlining trial teams, selectors and the final selection process. The previous Team Selection Policy is attached for reference.

Easts Junior Boys Trials/Training – *2024*

“J1” Boys

• Open to all J1 and J2 players from 2023 as well as any other current or new players who wish to be considered for J1 in 2024
• Trials: Thursday 1st February 6-7pm and Thursday 8th February 6-7pm
• Training from 15th Februart 6-7pm 

“J2 & J3 Boys”

u7/u9 Boys: 

• Training commences Thursday 22nd February (Grass)
